Halloween wishes

Hi all, Mo here, just wanted to share a Halloween witchie with you.

In the Halloween section of Rick's etsy I found an adorable little witchie. I just had to colour her and have a little practise making a Halloween project.

If you love Halloween as much as I do it might be a great idea to join in for the 31 Days of Halloween, organized by Smeared Ink, who BTW also are selling rubber Rick St. Dennis stamps.

Ofcourse you can find lots of Halloween digi's in Rick's etsy, and if you prefer to use rubber stamps you can get some Halloween and all kinds of other RSD images in rubber at I Brake for Stamps, but they also have some awesome Halloween RSD digi images.

Anyway I have made another art journal page, I am really having fun playing with my Gelli Plate,  This time I also used my Cricut to cut out stencils. See the spiderwebb that's  from the 31 rst october cartridge, just cut it out and
use as stencil. I did the same to make the swirly background, that's on  the storybook cartridge.

here is Winsome Witch

this is what I used

Creepmas Notebooks!

Hi everyone!
I've been working on some gifts to put in our Christmas stockings and made this notebooks, aren't they fun.
This notebooks are really easy to make and a great detail when you are on a budget.
The images are from a set called: Holiday Bookmarks. I know Rick designed them to be used as bookmarks, but I think they are great for this project.
Here they are:

You can find additional details of this project on my Blog.

Creepmas is not just Seasonal

Hi folks, Helen/Croms here. A quick post, I just wanted to share my latest card with you and to prove that some of the Creepmas images are good for all occasions. In fact this can be applied to nearly all Rick's images.
This little beauty can be found in the Creepmas section of Rick's Etsy shop but it can be a wonderfully dark birthday image as well.
I bring you Dark Angel Sauvage.

I coloured the image in these colours to tie in with those in a challenge of which our very own Alison and Suzi are apart of. More details, are on my blog.

Steampunk Peg

Greetings! Alison here, and I am going to share my latest project for Rick St. Dennis. Rick has moved all of his amazing Randi Dandi images over to I Break for Stamps. Some of my favorite images of Rick's are in this rather large collection, and if you haven't checked them all out, I urge you to do so.

I decided to work with one of Rick's newer images, Steampunk Peg. She is part of the brand new Halloween collection. I made a 6x6 mini page...not quite an art journal page, not quite a scrapbook layout.

Isn't she striking? I colored her with Spectrum Noir markers. I used some of the Warm Grays, the Cool Grays, a couple of greens, and the Earth Browns. This was a real challenge for me, as I love to use lots of bright colors usually. But this time, I wanted to go in a different direction.

Here is Steampunk Peg without her background, so that you can appreciate the detail in Rick's image.

I used a Tim Holtz die for the clock, an EK Success punch for the web, and a beautiful Fleur De Lis stencil from Dreamweaver Stencils.

I had so much fun with this image, and creating the page for it. Would you like to see more from me? I will have another project featuring a different Randi Dandi image on the Sparkle and Glitter Blog tomorrow. This one will have lots of color! I hope you will stop by for a visit. And if you would like to see more of my creations, you can visit my personal blog HERE. Have a creep-tastic day!

witchy art journalling

I think I have a new addiction and thought I'd share it with you...... Art Journalling.

It started because I bought a Gelli plate and had to learn how to use it. I had to experiment a bit with how much paint to use and how different colours of paint would work. The first prints didn't come out as I wanted but am still learning. When you start making prints you will have a lot of background papers in no time, and even though these weren't the best prints ever I decided to keep them and use them as backgrounds for Art journal pages.

I have done some art journalling before but i always got stuck cause I love to play with paints and markers but can't draw very well, but that problem is solved now. Using Rick's digi's for Art journalling works great!!

I have some witches to show you

First Miss Hagatha Crone, she is available at I Brake For Stamps, she is in the new halloween collection there (you have to check them out,  they are awesome)

And next one is Bewitching, she is a not scary, super sexy witch

and the last witch I will show you is Cassandra, I loved colouring her

So if you are like me, and love playing with inks and paint much more then making cards, rush over to Rick's etsy cause you will  find some images there you'll love  for sure, and get started, it's not hard and so much fun.
Finally some pics so you can see what these pages look like in the journal.

oops sorry, I had to cover the image on next page, but you will see that one soon
Just try it, you can't go wrong and you will get addicted just like me

O and don't forget to play in this months freebie constests on this blog and on Sparkle and Glitter

July Saturday Freebie

Freebie time !!!!! Every first Saturday of the month there will be specially drawn freebie images by Rick St. Dennis MFA.  One on each of the EDT blogs. A sweet cutesy image on Sparkle and Glitter and a more scary creepy, funny one for Airless Chambers.
So snag 'm both before they will be gone forever or maybe moved to the Etsy shoppe.

This month there is another freebie contest on both blogs, rules are easy, use the freebie to make a project, it's anything goes, so super easy. Link to the July contest page and link back to this post.  Linky closes July 27 2013.
Rick ST Dennis Elite Design Team will chose the winners. Rick breaks any ties. Winners will be announced July 31, first place winner will get a free choice of 3 digi's from the shop, because of the low participation, there will only be ONE winner this month.

We will have a bit of a summer break in August and September, the freebies will be there but there won't be a contest, the contest will return in October (yay, just in time for Halloween!!!!)

Hope you have fun creating with these fabulous images, we can't wait to see all the awesomeness you all will create.  Here is some wonderful inspiration from the EDT.
Please check out their blogs for details and they would love it if you leave them a nice comment.
