Crazy Alyce in Wonderland

These alternative 'Alice' characters from Rick's imagination are just fabulous! Here we have Crazy Alyce not looking too pleased... I hope it's not me who annoyed her! Printed onto neenah, coloured with promarkers then the white background was removed using Serif and the shadow added. The background is from a mcs disc called 'A Very Important Date' I hope you have a moment to visit my blog Sue x

Oh my...I'm on a roll here with these Alice in Wonderland alternative images, I am loving them, they are all so quirky. I thought I knew the story behind the images but I didn't know anything about a baby changing into a pig! Eeek!!!
Printed onto neenah, coloured with promarkers and pencils. I removed the white background of the image in Serif and used mcs for the sentiment and background paper. For more details please visit my blog. Sue x

Smeared and Smudged blog hop

The image inside the lamp is Hexology
The image outside is Batcula

This is my entry for the Smeared and Smudged blog hop today. If you like things to be somewhat quirky then please hop around... you never know what you might find! The remit was to upcycle an object...The lamp is very old, I wanted to decorate it for when we used to go to music festivals but didn't know how. It was quite funny when I started this project... my husband said I should dust the lamp before I do anything with it. NO NO NO.... that dust is old - it stays!

When I first saw Rick's model Tosca, I had the feeling he was an opera buff.  For those of you that are not familiar with this musical genre, Tosca is the name of a famous opera by Giacomo Puccini and is based on La Tosca - a French  language melodramatic play set in Rome, June 1800.  The opera contains depictions of torture, murder, and suicide, as well as some of Puccini's best known lyrical arias.  With this in mind, I felt that Tosca was a perfect candidate for Airless Chambers.  I was not sure how to proceed with Tosca, but I knew I wanted her to have raven hair, and once I started I could not stop until she was finished. She is colored with Copic markers and the jewelry embellished with Champagne glitter by Stickles.  Tosca can be found in Rick's Zibbet shop under the heading of Hats. Rick, I hope I did justice to your Floria Tosca!

some scary coloring

Hi all, Monique here with some coloured images to show you. The images used are all Rick St.Dennis digis

First Dr. Doom, you can find him on Zibbet . I love colouring scary guys (or girls) with capes, cause colouring the folds in the fabric is soo great to do. And this one's got a lamp too, thought it would be cool  to make the lamplight reflect in the clothes, hope it worked out well.

The second image is Crazy Alice, you can find her on Zibbet. As you may know I am a big Alice fan, so I just had to colour this one. Of course all Alices friends are in the stores too, just check them out here

And the last one I've got to show you is the You're a Winner, Nyner the little monster. This was the image you could have received for free if you had joined the first part of the Rick St.dennis progressive challenge on Sparkle and Glitter here. You will need this monster to participate in part 2 of the challenge (no worries he is now for sale in the Zibbet shop, so you can still play). There is some inspiration by the EDT using this monster on the SNG blog here.
Mine will be made into a project for the 2nd EDT post  using this monster on june 15, for now just the coloured guy

A loo with a view

Sometimes I just feel like colouring something totally different and I think a set of outhouses really fit the bill. For more details please visit my blog. Sue x
