Have a little Faith.

Good morning. I'm sharing another of my altered boxes today using one of Rick's Skulls from the fabulous Digi Stamp Sheet "Skull" Digi. which is available in his Zibbet Store.
I coloured up one of the images from the Skull Digi sheet with copics and scanned into photoshop to create a scene. This was then printed out and attached to the box top. DecoArt Media Crackle Glaze was applied and when dry DecoArt Media Antiquing cream in black was applied and wiped back to reveal all the lovely cracks. This was then sealed with a coat of DecoArt Media Matte Varnish to protect. The box sides were stencilled with DecoArt Media Modelling paste using an Andy Skinner Stencil and when dry painted with DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylics. The box sides were then given a coat of DecoArt Media Satin Varnish to protect. Love how this turned out.

Hope you like my inspiration.

I am NOT Lost!!!!

Wonderland element from a whole sheet of elements
I think this background almost illuminates the creature and the signpost.. all sort of bright yet spooky.
Printed onto neenah and coloured with promarkers and spectrum noir pencils. Then imported into Craft Artist 2 where I removed the white surround and added the background from a collection called Glow.

A job is a Job

Just for a bit of a change I wanted to show you what was happening  after the last Halloween disaster at the Tea Shop. Everything is almost back to 'normal' just a bit of tidying up to do. The old Executioner had found some skulls running amok in the old Manor House... this would never 'do'. Not now that there was a trainee Executioner waiting in the wings. This last Voodoo Skull Man was proving a bit hard to catch so some traps will have to be laid. Maybe tomorrow after a good night's sleep and a chat in the morning with some of the ghosts....
Printed onto neenah and coloured with promarkers and spectrum noir pencils. I hope you like my project Sue xx

Haunted Outhouse

Hey, it's Donna here, sharing a little wall hanging I did using the fabulous HaunTed OUTHOUSE, just ONE of the amazing outhouses available in Rick's Zibbet Shop.  I've removed the background from Madama de la Noche in my Printing program and added her to the steps.  This idea came to me after repeating my mantra, more than several times this week, for one reason or another.  Yeah, it's the SHITS, gettin' old, alright!

Here's a closeup of the combined images, colored with Copics with a touch of Prismacolor pencils here and there.  I've added spiderweb die cuts (I always think of then when I pass an outhouse (don't you?  EEEK!!!), some epoxy bats and edged the banner with my trusty Drippy Goo punch. For more info and a funny story about that TP roll please visit my BLOG.

Hello everyone! I'm on vacation right now all relaxed :)  So I have plenty of time to share stuff with you guys!

I'm sharing a not that dark make this time around.... but I still think dark enough for this blog.  I'm using 2 super digis for this  Signs 1  and the adorable little EEK   and with those 2 I made a little scene that I thought would be fun.  I'm quite pleased with how it turned out!

The background was made using a stamp of mountains that I used a few times and another stamp of a tree with lots of branches in Walnut distress ink.  Then the coloring of the background was completed using some pan pastels. I used prima chalk ink on the clouds.

The little EEK was colored with copics and fussy cut.  I did the parachute lines after with a fine pen.  You just have to LOVE his face!!!!

And here's the closer look at the sign that I did for the opposite journal page.

I'm really loving how this journaling turned out.

Hope you like my inspiration. Check out all the other fabulous images in the Zibbet store or in the Etsy store!

Have a fabulous Tuesday!!!!

Bad Science Birthday

Hi everyone today Im using the Rick St Dennis MFA image Bad Science. I decided to make it a birthday card. I started by printing out my image and colouring it with copic markers. I then added some staples and popped it up onto a fluro green shape {I got a packet of these shapes from a cheap shop they are normally used as promo tags}. These were put onto a purple starry base card. Awhile back I bought some cheap plastic test tubes on ebay, they turned out to be smaller than what I thought they were going to be so they have just been sitting in a cupboard in my craft room, until this project. I put black dots on little white pompoms {trying to make them look like eye balls} they have moved in the tube so its hard to see. I then used black sticky letters to write on the test tube I then stuck the tube on the card with double sided tape to finish.
The colours that I used to make this card are:
